Meet Our Team
OUR PEOPLE MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
We have a team that knows what it's like to start a new sport or activity, and understands how daunting it can be to try something for the first time. Whether you're a beginner or competing at the highest level, the Pro Bike + Run team is here to help coach you in every way to achieve your goals and more.
We have five locations around Pittsburgh close to some great trails, roads and tracks, and our team organizes group rides and runs to give you options and motivation to stay active. We believe in the power of community and the connections it can create. All of our stores have a focused, local community area where you can see what’s going.
Our biomechanics experts are here to help everyone reduce and recover from injuries, gain knowledgeable about the body and be comfortable during and after riding or running. We will assess your body and match or adjust products to support you. Join one of our committed fitness enthusiasts in one of our many educational clinics. Learn about our learnings after a lifetime of fitness dedication, and the solutions we use.
Our professional mechanics use a multi-point check process for every bike that comes in to and goes out of our workshops to ensure that you have a worry free and reliable ride. Come for a run, or join us on a ride. But always bring your fun!

Following my job as a courier I attended the United Bicycle Institute in Portland Oregon and received a bicycle mechanic and shop operation certification. That opened the door to working for the biggest Cannondale dealer in the country where the bulk of my knowledge and experience was gained. I eventually made my way to Pennsylvania and the rest is history.

There are so many good memories to choose from, but one that comes to mind real quick was riding "Hangover" in Sedona, AZ. My friend and I got a late start and wound up racing the sun down, luckily we got done just before it got too dark. That is not a place you want to be riding a bike in the dark, lots of places to fall to your death.

More about your background:
I am from Pittsburgh and plan to always be from Pittsburgh. I grew up in South Fayette, where I began my running career in middle school. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to have an amazing high school coach that not only led me to success but also nurtured a love for running. I took that love for running to compete for Duquesne in 2018 and had some success early on but was plagued with injuries for a majority of my collegiate career. Now I run as a 'sub elite' athlete for Pro Bike + Run. As a manager at Pro Bike and Run, I am passionate about bringing Pittsburgh the best that I can give for the running community. I plan to improve all my PRs and continue running and competing at a high level for the foreseeable future while helping Pro Bike + Run grow and develop into something truly special along the way.

My favorite place to run is through the city. I find it so satisfying to run in an urban landscape. My favorite place to ride is in the woods. If I lived closer to Raystown or Jake's Rocks, I'd be out there all the time. Most of the time you'll find me in South Park or Hollow Oak.
Fave running/riding memory:
My favorite running memory is crossing the finish line of my first marathon. It was the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, TN with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's New York City Chapter. I was with a great group of people and ran in loving memory of my grandfather.
More about your background:
I am a dedicated seventh-grade English teacher whose enthusiasm for life extends far beyond the classroom walls. My love for teaching is matched only by my passion for adventure and connecting with people. When I'm not at school or in the shop, I can be found exploring new-to-me cycling trails or hiking with my dogs. My enthusiasm for adventure is only surpassed by my genuine desire to make connections with those I meet along the way. I believe in the power of human connection and use my love for teaching and cycling as platforms to bring people together to create a sense of community and belonging.

Fave running/riding memory:
Being an integral part of the leadout for Jared Babik winning the 2013 PA State Criterium Championship.
More about your background:
I have worked as a bicycle mechanic in Western Pennsylvania since 2004. Honing my skills over the years before serving as the head mechanic at Big Bang Bicycles until its closing, I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly for everything that companies have brought to the table in those years. I love using my experiences to know what to look for, whether it's a malfunctioning drivetrain from 15 years ago or a brand-new groupset that needs some fine-tuning. My passion is making a bicycle perform to the best of its potential. There is nothing more satisfying than curing a problem that has plagued someone's bicycle for far too long and them realizing that it wasn't "the way it was supposed to be." Whether it's Shimano, Campagnolo, or SRAM, I love being able to dive into the technical details to understand how and why something works the way it does. I truly believe that bicycles are better than they have ever been with regard to providing an enjoyable ride and experience for the rider and can't wait to see what the future has in store.
